I’ve been lucky enough to be able to involve Lux in the realization of a good friend of mine, Mary Mattingly’s, latest artistic endeavour “The Waterpod”.
A floating art instillation and eco-habitat with many contributors currently under construction in NYC, The Waterpod is intended to bob around in the Hudson off Manhattan for at least 6 months. The pod will have 5 permanent inhabitants eking their existence from recycled or collected water, and food grown on board. Various viewings where the general public will be invited to check it out are being arranged as we speak.
We’ve been contributing by providing visualization services and helping to design certain aspects of the pod.

We anticipate the new Lux website being up and live in the coming weeks! Thank you to everyone for your patience while the site has been down and “under construction.” We are very excited to feature our new work (and a lot of our old work that has never been showcased) and look forward to hearing your feedback.

We have been advised of a very favourable review of work we completed on Wyvern for Sci-Fi Channel.
The line: “… Wyvern is easily the best movie ever made about a dragon attacking Alaska.” might just be the quote of the week. Nice work!

February 17th, 2009 is the release date for the Dead Like Me: Life After Death DVD! Lux completed all the Visual Effects for the film and is really excited for this much anticipated release.
